Terms of Use — Metrozinho

Metrozinho is an independent project, not affiliated with the São Paulo Metrô, CPTM, ViaQuatro, ViaMobilidade, Motiva, the Government of the State of São Paulo, Metropolitano de Lisboa, Carris or the Portuguese Government. All information is an estimate for planning — confirm timetables and conditions through the official channels.

1. Identification

Metrozinho (metrozinho.com.br and the Metrozinho São Paulo and Metrozinho Lisbon mobile apps) is operated by Infinniti IA, Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 59.584.600/0001-97, with registered office at Rua Verbo Divino, 2001 — Conj. 305, Chácara Santo Antônio (Zona Sul), São Paulo/SP, Brazil, CEP 04719-002. Metrozinho is an independent app with no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement from Companhia do Metropolitano de São Paulo (Metrô), CPTM, SPTrans, ViaQuatro, ViaMobilidade, Motiva, TIC Trens, the Government of the State of São Paulo, Metropolitano de Lisboa, E.P.E., Carris, TML/navegante or the Portuguese Government. The word "metro" is used in its descriptive sense for the means of transport. Trademarks, logos and the official network maps belong to their respective owners and are not used in this app.

2. What the service is

Metrozinho offers route planning on the metropolitan rail networks of São Paulo and Lisbon, an interactive schematic map, line status, fares, address-to-address planning (in São Paulo with suggested bus lines to the station and arrival predictions), route sharing (link and image), live trip sharing, an AI assistant and educational content for first-time riders. Third-party names and marks occasionally mentioned (lines, operators, stations) belong to their owners and are used for information only.

3. Information "as is"

Routes, travel times, transfers, status, fares and bus arrival predictions are calculated from official public sources, complementary third-party data (such as TIC Trens) and our own estimates. They may differ from actual operation (works, incidents, timetable or price changes). Metrozinho is not liable for losses or damages arising from delays, interruptions or discrepancies between the information displayed and the actual operation of the transport system.

In the live trip, the position shown on the map is an estimate based on travel time — there is no GPS tracking (the signal does not work in tunnels). Anyone with the link can follow the trip while the session is active; choosing whom to share the link with is your responsibility.

4. Free of charge, ads and Premium subscription

Use is free, supported by advertising (Google AdMob in the apps; Google AdSense on the website).
The optional Premium subscription (yearly) removes ads from the app.
Purchase, renewal, cancellation and refund of the subscription are processed by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google), under each store's rules and deadlines. The current price is the one displayed in the store at the time of purchase. Use "Restore purchase" to reactivate the subscription on a new device.

5. Metrozinho assistant (AI)

Metrozinho is an artificial-intelligence assistant that interprets requests about routes, status, fares and metro usage. AI-interpreted content may contain errors — check the information before deciding your trip.
The assistant only answers topics about the covered transport networks and the app's features, and has daily usage limits that may differ between the free and Premium plans.
Using the assistant to obtain content unrelated to the purpose of the service or to circumvent its protections is prohibited.

6. Acceptable use and intellectual property

You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, attempt to bypass security systems, overload our servers or commercially exploit the app, the website or the API without written authorization.
The app, the website, the schematic map and the visual identity are owned by Infinniti IA. Geographic data derived from OpenStreetMap is © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL license.

7. Privacy

The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the LGPD (Law 13,709/2018) and, for EU users, the GDPR.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms and the service itself at any time; relevant changes will be announced on the website and in the apps. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. In case of discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

9. Governing law and venue

Brazilian law applies. The courts of the District of São Paulo/SP are elected to settle any dispute, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the user's country of residence.
